Galactic Foundation Ministries (Galactic Foundation Limited) is a Christian ministry registered in Uganda as a non-profit Company Limited by Guarantee (Registration number: 80020002153195). This is the registration required for all nonprofits, Christian Ministries and NGOs.

As a Ministry, “We are engaged in Church planting (currently with 9 churches planted), life transformation seminars with parents, religious leaders, community and political leaders, leadership development, family empowerment, support of girl-child education, and advocacy for women’s rights and the fight against domestic and gender-based violence.”

MISSION STATEMENT

We seek to RESTORE hope in the lives of people, INSPIRE them to dream again, and EMPOWER them to achieve those dreams while building them on the foundation of the Bible with Christ as the Chief Cornerstone.

WHAT WE DO

At Galactic Foundation Ministries (GFM), we believe that family is the life-blood of any society. This means, for this society to be healthy, the families that make it must equally be healthy.

The focus of GFM is changing nations for God’s glory by changing the families that makes it. We believe that if our families functioned the way God intended it to be, the nations its a part of would be way different.

Here are some of the things we do to help Restore Hope, Inspire Lives and Empower Families that makes up our nation:

1. PASTORAL MINISTRY.

The focus of the pastoral ministry is church panting, leadership development, and training. Imani School of Leadership and Management and Foundation Community Bible Churches are under this ministry. We currently have seven churches planted under the ministry between 2019 to date (Please pray for funds to buy church land and for building buildings for these churches).

Our School of Leadership and Management offers Certificate in Biblical Studies and an Intensive three level Leadership Development Program (LDP).

2. WOMEN’S MINISTRY.

The focus of the women’s ministry is the empowerment of girls and women to not only achieve their God-given dreams but also live to the full potential of what God has invested in them. We are achieving this through women’s seminars, counseling and guidance, and imparting of hands-on, practical, and relevant skills so they are able to earn a living and support their families and avoid being taken advantage of by men who just wants to use them in return for money. Galactic Girls program that is working on girls empowerment is under this ministry.

3. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.

Our goal is to create a safe learning environment for our children. Majority of the children in the rural setting don’t have opportunity to attend preschool years and therefore miss the Early Childhood Development stage training ands learning experience. This lack therefore affects them in their later years as students and adults.We want to instill not only secular knowledge but also Godly discipline in the lives of the children as they grow up. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).

4. HEALTHCARE MINISTRY.

As we serve in the communities around the country of Uganda, we come face to face with serious challenging health issues (malnourished children, unhealthy teenage mothers, malaria death cases) and many other diseases inflicting the community. We currently sponsor these patients to clinics where they can receive medical care. Our plan and dream is to establish our own clinic, hire our own ministry nurses and doctors so that we are able to keenly monitor the physical health of the people we serve. We do not just want to prepare people for eternity by preaching the Gospel to the neglect of their physical needs, we want to see that the people we serve live a good, healthy lives on this earth as they serve the Lord in building His Kingdom.

5. EMERGENCY RESPONSE MINISTRY.

The world is full of short comings and an unannounced disasters. Our Emergency Response program will help us be prepared to help in times when it is greatly needed. We will train our staff for emergency response and put resources aside for it. We want to be there when we are needed, present when the world is hurting most, by lending a helping hand.

6. YOUTH MINISTRY.

Our Youth Ministry program focuses on discipleship, career guidance, school outreaches, sexual reproductive health and training, and programs aimed at equipping them with hands-on training skills so that they are able to not only create jobs for themselves but become employers to their colleagues. We are teaching the youth responsible and biblical manhood and womanhood. Our community sensitization and weekly radio program is under this ministry.

All our ministry programs are Bible-based and geared towards helping families as a whole discover God’s purpose for their lives and so live to honor Him. It’s been said, “If you want to move the mountain tomorrow, start removing rocks today.” We hope to change our nations with the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but we are doing that by reaching one family at a time.

FUTURE PLANS

BUILD A MARRIAGE RETREAT CENTRE
We would love to have a hideout place for couples. A place where they can rekindle their love, and reconnect with each other as they seek God. A place that can provide security and safety away from the distraction of the kids, work, and everyday life events. We would hire this place to other ministries at a discounted fee as a way of serving them and raising ministry funds locally.

VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Uganda’s education system has focused more on the theoretical, classroom kind of training which has produced and continues to graduate thousands of white-collar job seekers on a yearly basis with little to no practical skills to be employed. As one of the youngest countries in Africa, with over 70% of its population being 30 years and under, the challenge of unemployment is far from over. As GFM we hope to help play a role in the unemployment problem Uganda is facing by establishing vocational training schools to give hands-on skills. Our aim is to be able to produce job-creators who are faithful and God-fearing than job-seekers who are by the thousands on the streets.

SECONDARY SCHOOL
Even though there is some form of free education or affordable secondary education system in Uganda, the student-teacher ratio and the quality of learning presented is always wanting. We want to establish an intentional Christian and Bible-based secondary school where Christian virtues are taught, practiced, and lived out both in and out of the classroom. We need a school(s) where moral values and faith is a core part of the curriculum. We hope to establish a school that will produce responsible citizens who fights for the truth, even when it hurts.

OFFICE BLOCK AND TEACHING LAB
Galactic Foundation Ministries currently rents office space to oversee the day-to-day smooth running of the different ministries we do. We use these offices to offer free counseling, mentorship training, Bible classes, and internship to post-secondary school and university students.
Our future plan is to be able to buy land and build office blocks and a teaching lab to offset the monthly cost of renting facilities to us for the ministry.

As Galactic Foundation Ministries, we saw a need, discovered problems, and felt called by God to do something about it, and we obeyed the call. As a Faith-based Ministry, the monthly running of our programs is solely based on support and donations from families, friends, and well-wishers.

Join us by taking an active part in the planning and preparation process of our marriage retreats, seminars, youth programs, Church planting, leadership training, and other activities.
Come volunteer as part of our High school outreach team and have the unique opportunity to change the lives of these young people with the love and Gospel of Christ while being impacted as well.
Sponsor a program or give towards one, or come and be part of one.
Refer us to your circle of friends and invite them to our activities to increase public awareness of our work.
